Nominations for the SLSWA Toad Camp (Under 14 & 15 age groups) and Rise Up Camp (Under 17 age group) are now open. Nomination forms can be obtained by following this link to 13-1819-Youth-Development-Camp-Opportunities.

The camps are designed to engage our youth members with the aim of developing future leaders in surf lifesaving.

Nomination forms are to be returned to the club office by MONDAY 24th October 2018. A small paragraph outlining your lifesaving experience should accompany your nomination form.

A small club committee will meet to review & endorse applications before forwarding to SLSWA.

Please do not hesitate to contact the Cadet Coordinator Gary Williams or the Club Office should you have any questions.

Youth Involvement Program

Our young members are the future of lifesaving.

There are many ways our young members can be involved in lifesaving and our Crusaders program is designed to keep you motivated, involved, and help you get ahead in life outside of lifesaving in a fun, healthy and safe environment.

So who are the Crusaders?

They are the Clubs’ U14-U19 Cadets who have chosen to be a part of the Youth Involvement Program. They are our youth looking for challenge and adventure.  The Crusaders provides the vehicle for our youth to develop under the watchful eyes of Surf; to challenge themselves; to conquer fears and to develop into confident young men and women.
